Discover a region rich in tourist sites, the Black Perigord, from our charming cottages located in the heart of the Barade forest and find the charm and comfort of a holiday home in the countryside.

The Black Perigord is a very rich region that has passed through millennia of human history that make this authentic territory an exceptional place. Our lodgings are close to major tourist sites such as the Lascaux Caves II and IV and the Cave of hundred mammoths in Rouffignac, numerous castles, Sarlat but also the starting point for hiking trails or for mountain bike trails or family through a forest of 13 hectares marked, not to mention the canoe descent of the nearby Vézère river.

Whatever the color of the Périgord you want to discover, Black, White, Green or Purple Indigo Barns are a good starting point. To remember above all, the department of Périgord and the Dordogne is Gold!

The last arrivals, Golden (the mare) and Prune (the pony) came to keep company with our 2 donkeys Gaïa (the mother) and Fougasse (the daughter).

Pirate and Pirouette, our 2 cats from the same sibling are also very curious and sociable and love caresses.

We also have 5 hens (Madeleine, Esther, Dorothée, Simone and Laurette) who evolve all day in freedom in the garden and who really enjoy coming to see you when you have lunch to try to get something to eat. With chickens, nothing is lost : peelings, end of plate, stale bread ... it allows to reduce waste, it’s very ecological!

By being observant, discreet and lucky you will also be able to meet the wildlife in our woods and meadows: deer, deer, hares, foxes, badgers, wild boars ... and a multitude of birds (jay, tit, robin, kite, buzzard ...). A varied and multiple fauna to observe and discover.
